What difference does it make?

FreeMyAddict moves from advertising model to DONATIONS. Get CONSULTATION and Community Connect Membership with every donation.

When you’re involved with an alcoholic’s life it becomes easy to get frustrated and want to simply give up.
In many ways you become numb to the many parts of your own life you have given up.
If you’re like most family or friends of an alcoholic you’ve become tired of the stress and need answers.

Alcoholics have many choices for rehabilitation and support and they often don’t take advantage of the resources.

This is where FreeMyAddict comes in.

We recognized a deficit in the area of support for those who are often the caregivers.
The people who are in relationships with an alcoholic or addict.

Regardless of your alcoholic’s decision to get help or not, you need to have support.

This site is dedicated to deal frankly and openly about the real issues you face from day to day.
You may have seen recently we eliminated ADVERTISING on the site.

The reason is because we know YOU will decide what this FreeMyAddict is worth to you.
That’s why we have moved to a DONATION basis.

Anyone giving $25 or more gets a CONSULTATION with each DONATION.

This makes it possible to maintain the site and keep things working.

In addition to the CONSULTATION membership in COMMUNITY CONNECT will be FREE for those who DONATE each month.

It’s our goal to continue to expand services to those who visit our site. We’re happy to support you in your journey with your alcoholic.

Thanks for visiting our site and sharing it with others. I look forward to being able to work with many of you personally. Let’s talk.

An active faith is certainly a big support when living with an alcoholic. When you come to know your alcoholic has the problem and you don’t have to own it you are on your way to being free. Thanks Kat for your comments.

Answers often are all around but denial keeps us from accepting the truth. Frustration, anger and hurt are common when you live with an alcoholic. The path for wellness is to learn to NOT enable and learn what you CAN control, it isn’t your alcoholic.
